From a Customers View "I recently purchased a Tata Altroz XZ (Downtown Red). While making the decision on which car to go for, i researched a lot about different companies and their offerings and finally decided to go with Tata Motors over the likes of Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia etc."

Some of the factors To considered Are:

Safety - This is hands-down the USP of Tata Motors. Although Tata Motors has always been manufacturing safe cars (Indica etc), but during the past few years, TM has revamped it's brand image and has effectively marketed it's offerings as THE SAFEST CARS. And customers are fast realising the importance of safe cars and the target market is no longer safety-indifferent.

Features - TM has beaten both Maruti and Hyundai at their own game by introducing segment-best features in their newer offerings, especially the Altroz. Cruise Control, Idle Start-Stop etc in a premium hatchback is something revolutionary and definitely puts TM on the Map as an Indomitable force.

Design - This is something even die-hard fans of Maruti and Hyundai agree.

Look at the sheer aggression and sportiness assimilated into the design of not just the Altroz but all the recent offerings by TM.

Aggressive Pricing - TM doesn't advertise much but they divert funds into pricing their cars more aggressively. Speaking of the premium hatchback and hatchback sections, TM definitely offers a better pricing than it's competitors. It definitely shows they have a strong connect with the price-sensitive Indian market and are willing to do what it takes.

Customer Service - TM has drastically improved on this front. They used to be pathetic in terms of customer service but it shows they've listened to their customers and improved the service levels to bring them at par with or atleast near to their competitors. you will be more than satisfied with the customer service during the entire journey of planning a vehicle - both from the dealer front as well as the corporate front.

There are definitely other factors like trustworthy brand image of the Tata name and the sudden wave of preference for domestic products.

All these efforts from TM has lead to fruition - exhibiting an increase of Market share in the Passenger Vehicles (PV) segment on a YoY basis.

Though the pent-up demand for automobiles during lockdown might have been a factor in such inorganic growth in sales, but there's hardly a doubt that a major portion of such stellar performance comes out of the efforts of the company and their elite offerings.
